Thank you Mr. Phun

Updated: Jan 20, 2023

Thank you for being such a supportive teacher. I am very inspired by your teaching and photography. You inspire me to want to keep pursuing photography. You have taught me that so much goes behind a single photo. For example, there is a lot of preparation, so many photos taken just to get the right one. As well as the adjusting to get the photo at the right aperture and shutter speed, You are a patient, kind, and fun person. I enjoy our chats about water polo and other things. I always enjoy hearing about your past training for flying planes. I wish you the best and to enjoy your winter break.

Here are a few of my favorite pictures I have taken so far.

Squirrel picture- Exposure: 1/200, Focal length: 55 mm, ISO: 1,600, F number: f/5.6

River- Exposure: 2, Focal length: 200 mm, ISO: 100, F number: f/25

WaterFall- Exposure: 00:10, Focal length: 55 mm, ISO: 100, F number: f/16

Moon- Exposure: 1/250, Focal length: 300 mm, ISO: 800, F number f/6.3

Duck Diving- Exposure: 1/800, Focal length: 300 mm, ISO: 160, F number: f/6.3

Duck Gliding- Exposure: 1/1,000, Focal length: 300 mm, ISO: 100, F number: f/6.3

I was surprised that I caught most of these photos especially the squirrel and duck diving photo. I had never seen the type of photo that makes water look like fabric until you showed me how to take them. I think I could futher improve the moon picture by editing it as well as the other photos in lightroom.
